Khususnya dengan alat pelembap ultrasonik, khlor dan mineral yang terkandung dalam air keran akan terurai dan dapat terkumpul di proyektor yang akhirnya menyebabkan degradasi citra atau masalah lainnya. PEMBERITAHUAN • Posisikan proyektor agar sinar tidak langsung mengenai sensor jarak-jauh proyektor. • Jangan memasang produk di tempat yang dapat terjadi interferensi radio. 6
Menghubungkan dengan perangkat Anda
Sebelum menghubungkan proyektor ke perangkat, bacalah manual perangkat untuk mengkonfirmasi bahwa perangkat cocok untuk dihubungkan dengan proyektor ini dan siapkan aksesori yang diperlukan, seperti kabel yang kompatibel dengan sinyal perangkat. Tanyakan pada dealer Anda bila aksesori yang diperlukan tidak disertakan bersama produk atau aksesori tersebut rusak. Setelah memastikan proyektor dan perangkat telah dimatikan, lakukan penyambungan, sesuai dengan petunjuk berikut. Lihat gambar F-1 sampai F-4 di belakang manual ini. Untuk perinciannya, lihat Manual Pengguna. Sebelum menghubungkan proyektor ke sistem jaringan, pastikan juga membaca Panduan Jaringan.
CATATAN • Jangan menghidupkan atau mematikan proyektor selagi terhubung ke perangkat yang mengoperasikannya, kecuali jika diperintahkan demikian dalam manual perangkat. • Beberapa port masukan dapat dipilih. Stopkontak listrik harus dekat dengan proyektor dan mudah diakses. Lepaskan kabel daya untuk memutus sama sekali aliran listrik. • Jangan sekali-kali memodifikasi kabel data.
Menghidupkan proyektor

PERHATIAN ►Jangan memegang tombol elevator tanpa menahan proyektor, karena proyektor bisa jatuh. ►Jangan memiringkan proyektor kecuali dengan menaikkan bagian depannya tidak lebih dari 12 derajat dengan kaki pengaturnya. Proyektor yang dimiringkan lebih dari ukuran tersebut dapat gagal berfungsi, atau memperpendek usia bahan pakainya atau masa pakai proyektornya sendiri.

Bila permukaan proyeksi sedikit tidak rata di kiri atau kanan, gunakan kaki elevator untuk memperbaiki penempatan proyektor. Kaki tersebut juga dapat digunakan untuk memiringkan proyektor dan dapat menaikkan sisi depan proyektor hingga 12 derajat. Proyektor ini mempunyai 2 kaki elevator dan 2 tombol elevator. Kaki elevator dapat disesuaikan bila Anda menekan tombol elevator pada sisi yang sama secara bersamaan. Sambil menahan proyektor, tekan tombol elevator untuk melonggarkan kaki elevator. Posisikan bagian depan proyektor hingga ketinggian yang diinginkan. Lepaskan tombol elevator agar dapat mengunci kaki elevator. Setelah memastikan kaki elevator terkunci, pelanpelan turunkan proyektor. Jika perlu, kaki elevator dapat diputar secara manual untuk penyesuaian yang lebih akurat. Tahan proyektor saat memutar kakinya.

Aktifkan sumber sinyal Anda. Hidupkan sumber sinyal dan buat agar ia mengirim sinyal ke proyektor. Gunakan tombol VOLUME + / VOLUME untuk menyesuaikan volume. Untuk mematikan suara proyektor, tekan tombol MUTE pada kontrol jarak-jauh. Tekan tombol SOURCE pada proyektor. Setiap kali Anda menekan tombol, proyektor akan berputar ke setiap port masukan. Anda juga dapat menggunakan kontrol jarak jauh untuk memilih sinyal masukan. Tekan tombol RESIZE pada kontrol jarak jauh. Setiap kali Anda menekan tombol, proyektor akan berputar ke setiap mode rasio aspek. Gunakan cincin ZOOM untuk menyesuaikan ukuran layar. Gunakan cincin FOCUS untuk memfokuskan gambar. Putar pengatur VERTICAL untuk memutar berlawanan arah jarum jam. Kemudian putar searah jarum jam dan sesuaikan posisi lensa vertikal ke atas. Putar LOCK berlawanan arah jarum jam untuk melonggarkan kunci pengatur HORIZONTAL. Putar pengatur HORIZONTAL searah jarum jam atau berlawanan arah jarum jam untuk menyesuaikan posisi lensa horizontal. Putar LOCK searah jarum jam untuk mengencangkannya dan mengunci posisi lensa horizontal.

Mematikan proyektor

Pesan “Power off?” akan muncul pada Tombol STANDBY/ON layar sekitar 5 detik. Indikator POWER Tekan lagi tombol STANDBY/ON saat pesan muncul. Lampu proyektor akan padam, dan indikator POWER akan mulai berkedip jingga. Kemudian indikator POWER akan berhenti berkedip dan menjadi tetap jingga setelah lampu menjadi dingin. Pasang penutup lensa, hanya setelah indikator POWER terus menyala jingga. Jangan hidupkan proyektor selama 10 menit atau lebih setelah mematikannya. Juga, jangan matikan proyektor setelah sebentar menghidupkannya. Pengoperasian demikian dapat menyebabkan kegagalan fungsi atau memperpendek masa pakai beberapa komponen, termasuk lampu.

Mengganti lampu Lampu mempunyai masa pakai yang terbatas. Menggunakan lampu dalam waktu lama dapat menyebabkan gambar menjadi redup dan nuansa warna menjadi buruk. Setiap lampu mempunyai masa pakai berbeda, dan sebagian mungkin meletup atau hangus tidak lama setelah Anda mulai menggunakannya. Disarankan membeli lampu pengganti lebih dahulu. Untuk membeli lampu baru, hubungi dealer Anda dan beri tahu nomor komponen lampu tersebut. Nomor komponen: SP-LAMP-064 3 Pintu lampu Matikan proyektor dan cabut steker kabel daya. Biarkan proyektor dingin paling tidak selama 45 menit. Beli lampu baru. Jika proyektor dipasang di langitlangit, atau jika lampu pecah, Anda dapat meminta dealer memasangkan lampu tersebut. Jika Anda memasang sendiri lampu tersebut, ikuti prosedur ini: Longgarkan sekrupnya (bertanda panah) pada pintu lampu kemudian geser dan angkat pintu lampu ke samping untuk melepasnya. Longgarkan 3 sekrupnya (bertanda panah) pada lampu, dan pelan-pelan lepaskan lampu menggunakan pegangannya. Jangan 4 Pegangan melonggarkan sekrup lainnya. Masukkan lampu baru, dan kencangkan lagi 3 sekrup pada lampu dengan erat (yang tadi dilonggarkan) untuk mengunci pada tempatnya.

PERINGATAN ►Proyektor menggunakan lampu kaca merkuri bertekanan tinggi. Lampu bisa pecah dengan bunyi yang keras, atau terbakar, jika diguncang atau digaruk, dipegang selagi panas, atau aus dengan sendirinya. Perhatikan, setiap lampu mempunyai masa pakai berbeda, dan sebagian mungkin meletup atau hangus tidak lama setelah Anda mulai menggunakannya. Selain itu, jika bola lampu meletup, kemungkinan serpihan kacanya terserak di dalam rumah lampu, dan gas berisi merkuri serta debu berisi partikel kaca yang halus keluar dari ventilasi proyektor. ►Tentang membuang lampu: Produk ini berisi lampu merkuri; jangan membuangnya di tempat sampah. Jika salah satu atau kedua filter rusak atau kotor sekali, gantilah unit filter dengan yang baru.
